The Committee of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Ireland 🇮🇪 would like to extend a special thank you to everyone who supported and attended our Breed Specialty Show yesterday! We are delighted to congratulate all of our winners and participants on a wonderful day of competition and celebration of our beloved breed ❤️
With a great entry of 58 dogs, this year’s show was truly special, and we promise to do our very best to make it even better again next year.
A huge THANK YOU goes to our Judge, Mr. Einar Paulsen, for his expert opinions, gentle and respectful approach to the dogs, comprehensive critiques, and for generously spending extra time with us during the Special Beginners and Best Child & Dog Team competitions, as well as during photoshoots between Class judging.
We would also like to sincerely thank Mr. Paul Lawless, Navan Dog Club, and BSD Dog Club for sharing their beautifully prepared venue with us. The clean surroundings and freshly cut grass created the perfect setting for the event.
Our gratitude also goes to all of our generous sponsors who made the abundance of goodies, prizes, and trophies possible, namely Royal Canin, Southview Veterinary Hospital, DFM Kennels and several Bernese kennels and kind private individuals, who supported the show so generously.
Yesterday, the ringside atmosphere was filled with friendship, laughter, and joy, while all dogs were beautifully presented throughout the day. We congratulate not only all of the winners, but also the brave owners and children who found the courage and determination to take part in such a competitive show, especially those attending and exhibiting for the very first time.
We are also excited to share some unedited competitor photos below taken by us, so participants can already begin remembering this lovely day. Professional photographers were also present at the ring and will share their edited photographs later. We would like to thank Patrick Fortune and Ervin and the Visions Photography Team in advance for capturing these special memories for everyone.
