Bernese Mountain Dog Genetic Screening Package
Southview Veterinary Hospital are exited to launch their Genetic Testing Package to all Bernese Mountain Dog breeders, in collaboration with Antagene Labortatory in France.
Testing includes:
✓Degenerative Myelopathy (Both Mutations)
✓ Von Willebrand Disease (One Mutation)
✓ Multidrug Sensitivity
✓ Histiocytic Sarcoma
✓ Curly/Wavy Coat
✓ Polydactyl
✓ Shedding
The cost of this package is €250 (incl VAT) which also includes taking the sample, submission to the laboratory, certifying results and a detailed interpretation of results, if required.

Southview Veterinary Hospital are also offering a 10% Discount on Hip and Elbow Scoring from 2nd Jan 2024 to the 29th Feb 2024. This includes General Anaesthetic, Hip and Elbow Radiographs, submission to Vetscoring, a detailed interpretation of the x-ray finding and results. For 2 months only, the price will be reduced from €425 to €382.50.
